BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Studio valve preamplifier NAT3 provides XLR mic input and hi-impedance 6.3mm (1/4 inch) JACK input for musical instruments. The device has a built-in PHANTOM voltage supply to ensure condenser mic can be used.

The mic input gain could be set to certain levels of +20dB, +40dB a +60dB, but the gain/volume could be set more precisely with the VOLUME control. The output sound level is displayed on dBu-meter. The preamp provides 3 band equalizer with frequencies of 100Hz, 1kHz and 10kHz with range of +-15dB except for the 1kHz with the range of +-5dB.

The musical instrument input has a maximum of +30dB gain. The sound path is the same as the mic input has, so only one input could be used at the same time.

The output of preamp NAT3 is galvanically separated, so there is absolutely no risk of ground loop when its connected to the sound path. However, if the grounding of the output is required for some reason, it can be easily done by switch located on the rear panel. The output connectors are XLR and 6.3mm (1/4inch) JACK. The preamp size is the standard 19" 2U rack.

Labels on the front panel are permanently engraved with laser.
